From CBE Shanghai to Cosmobeauty Seoul, LecSnow explored emerging beauty device technologies, consumer preferences and localization needs across two influential Asian beauty markets.
In May 2026, the LecSnow team attended two important beauty industry events in Asia: China Beauty Expo (CBE) in Shanghai and Cosmobeauty Seoul in South Korea.
For us, exhibitions are not simply about presenting products. They are an opportunity to meet customers face to face, observe how different markets are evolving, and better understand what beauty brands, distributors and consumers are looking for in the next generation of at-home beauty and wellness devices.

At CBE Shanghai, we presented a selection of LecSnow's latest beauty and wellness device solutions and met with customers and industry partners from different markets.
One clear trend was the continued expansion of beauty devices beyond traditional facial skincare. Buyers are increasingly looking to customize LED light therapy devices, RF and EMS beauty devices, body care systems, scalp care devices and wearable wellness solutions.
At the same time, the conversation is shifting from simply adding more functions to creating products with a clearer market position. Technology combinations, industrial design, user experience, clinical or efficacy validation, and differentiation from existing products are becoming increasingly important in purchasing and product-development decisions.
For OEM and ODM projects, this means successful development increasingly requires coordination between market positioning, technology selection, engineering feasibility, compliance and manufacturing, rather than focusing on product specifications alone.

Our visit to Cosmobeauty Seoul provided another perspective.
South Korea remains one of the world's most influential and fast-moving beauty markets, with consumers and brands paying close attention not only to performance but also to the complete product experience.
During our market visits and discussions with local customers and partners, we observed strong interest in technologies such as ultrasonic facial care, LDM beauty technology, electroporation (EP), microcurrent and multifunctional beauty devices.
Another important observation was the level of attention given to product details.
Color, shape, weight, packaging, surface texture and overall tactile experience can all influence how consumers perceive a beauty device. In a mature and highly competitive market like Korea, these details are not secondary. They are part of the product itself.
This reinforces an important principle for our product development: technology creates the foundation, but localization determines how well a product fits its market.
LecSnow Korea market visit — partner meetings, Cosmobeauty Seoul and retail beauty device displays.
For customers entering Korea, LecSnow can support more than conventional OEM and ODM beauty device development. Depending on the project, local regulations and the customer's supply-chain strategy, we can also provide SKD (Semi-Knocked Down), CKD (Completely Knocked Down) and semi-finished product solutions for local assembly.
Instead of importing only finished devices, customers can work with us to determine which components or modules are manufactured and tested in China and which processes are completed locally. Depending on the product, this may include PCBA, functional modules, housings, batteries, accessories, packaging materials or partially assembled units, together with the corresponding BOM, assembly guidance and technical support.
This creates a more flexible manufacturing model for brands or partners that already have local assembly capabilities, or want to gradually build them. We can work with the customer to define the appropriate level of disassembly, component supply, testing procedures and quality-control responsibilities based on the actual project.
For the Korean market, our support can also extend to KC certification coordination, engineering consultation, localized packaging and manuals, technical documentation, assembly guidance and manufacturing resource integration.
This approach is not limited to Korea. Regulatory requirements, import structures, local manufacturing policies, consumer preferences and retail channels can vary significantly across Europe, North America, Japan, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Latin America. Rather than applying the same manufacturing model to every market, we evaluate the product and target market together to determine a more practical route from development to production and local market entry.

As a beauty and wellness device manufacturer working with international brands, our role is therefore not limited to manufacturing what is already defined.
We aim to bring together product development, engineering, manufacturing experience and market understanding to help our partners make better product decisions before entering production.
From Shanghai to Seoul, every market visit gives us another opportunity to listen, learn and refine how we develop products.
And ultimately, that helps us build beauty and wellness devices that are not only manufacturable, but better suited to the markets where they will actually compete.
